Philip S. Winner

Mr. Winner served as President for Layne Christensen's Energy division where he was responsible for managing operations of over 650 wells, compression, and 750 miles of gathering lines system in southeast Kansas. He was also responsible for developing and implementing Layne's produced water management services effort focused on safe, sustainable, and economic management of produced water, with major clients in the Permian basin and Marcellus plays.
With nearly 25 years' experience, Mr. Winner has comprehensive E&P experience and has served in leadership, management, planning, and technical roles on large projects for significant companies, including Mobil Oil, Apache, HS Resources, and Layne Christensen. In those roles, he has successfully added reserves and production by field development and exploration in major basins throughout the lower 48. Several projects have involved strategic technical alliances with other operators and major service companies.
Mr. Winner has earned a BS in Geology from Southern Oregon College, a MS in Geology from University of Vermont, and a MBA from the University of Denver. He is a Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists, is a Certified Professional Geologist with the State of Wyoming and supports Beta Gamma Sigma, the Business Honor society. Mr. Winner is currently consulting on a both technical and business-related projects in the Rockies, Permian basin, and mid-continent.
